Teaching Knowledge Test

The TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) is an internationally recognized teaching qualification accepted in over 60 countries. The purpose of the test is to assess how your teaching knowledge has developed in specific areas related to English language learning. The qualification is modular, which means that you can take as many modules as you want, and you will receive certification upon completion of each module. The test itself is multiple choice and requires some background reading. As an EF teacher, you will be provided with full support before you sit your TKT, including the core TKT textbook and the glossary of terms.

CertTESOL

The CertTESOL (Trinity Certificate in TESOL) is a teaching qualification and certification for teachers who are relatively inexperienced, or new to teaching English as a second language. It builds on the theoretical aspects of the TEFL qualification, with a stronger practical element. This globally recognized course is ideal for anyone looking to build a lasting career in language teaching.

Awareness of the importance of teamwork and mutual support are core themes throughout the course. EF English First offers in-centre training for participants in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chongqing and more. The course itself is independently moderated by Trinity College London, ensuring the highest quality and standards.
