Teaching English in Baotou

With its wide avenues, Baotou has a feel of grandeur not found in other Chinese cities. Although it has an urban population of 1.7 million and is quickly developing, it still manages to have a small town charm about it.

Baotou is the home of Xiaofeiyang (Little Sheep) which is a chain of hot pot restaurants which has branches all over China and as far away as USA, Canada and Europe. There are many different local cuisines with hot pot and local BBQ among the best!

With desert, mountain range and grassland areas being close by there are many interesting things to do from camel rides in the desert, skiing in the mountains in winter and experiencing the traditions of the Mongolian culture in the grasslands.

Living in Baotou will give you the chance to experience the best of all that teaching English in China has to offer thanks to its central location.
