If you’re thinking about starting a new TESOL job abroad, then you will need to become TESOL certified. TESOL stands for Teaching English as a Second or Other Language, but it also goes by the name of TEFL (in the UK) which means Teaching English as a Foreign Language, or ESL (in the US) English as a second Language.

The cost of a TESOL certification varies depending on the provider. If you decide to teach English with EF English First, then we will sponsor your TESOL certification once you have accepted the job. EF English First will pay for your qualification, saving you up to $500!
