EF English First Schools in China
It doesn’t matter if you’re teaching English to kids and teens in Beijing, teaching adults in Hangzhou, or teaching at our online centre in Shanghai. All of EF English First’s English language schools are designed with learning in mind and are built to the highest standards. All of our classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology like interactive whiteboards and iPads in our kids and teens schools. Interactive TVs and computers in our adult schools. Adobe software, webcams and mics at our online centre; as well as spacious offices with personal computers for every teacher. Our schools also have common areas for students to relax and practice English, or even grab a free tea, coffee or cold drink.
GUANGZHOU AND SHENZHEN
With schools all around China, there are various experiences for English language teachers to have. Our schools in Guangzhou are located throughout the city, so no matter where you go, you’ll be close to delicious dim sum and bohemian bars with fantastic music.
Nearby in Shenzhen, schools are surrounded by green parks and shopping malls. A short bus ride away is the beach! Yes, beaches exist in China and they’re as pristine as anything you’ll find in Southeast Asia. If for some reason you decide to venture out of Shenzhen, then you’re in luck. Shenzhen’s closest neighbour is Hong Kong. In a short bus or train ride you could be enjoying a day or two in one of the world’s most exciting cities without breaking the bank.
UP AND COMING CITIES
For those wishing to have a more immersive experience, many of our English schools in China are located in provincial capitals and other large cities, often with just one school per city. The locations of our language schools each promise their own charm: in Urumqi, you can explore the desert and culture while living in two different time zones at the same time! Experience the rich ethnic diversity in Nanjing. Live along the beautiful northern coastlines of Rizhao, known as the City of Sunshine in Chinese. Live amongst the limestone peaks of Yangshuo near Guilin. With over 50 cities to choose from, the only problem you’ll have is making a decision about where to live!
