Where are the TEFL jobs?

EF English First has schools in most major cities in China, Indonesia and Russia. Before taking a TEFL job abroad, EF English First strongly recommends that you research the destination you are considering on the internet, or at your local library. Tourist guides, while they may provide an excellent portrait of a country at a glance, are not written for the benefit of someone considering an extended stay in one particular location. Towns or cities described as being 'of little interest to tourists' are often vibrant economic centres where you will experience the real culture, and not be restricted to endless cafes, beaches and tour guides, although you'll have time to seek these out too!
