Teacher Training
In it's 45-year history, EF has developed an innovative methodology to ensure the academic success of our teachers, including a complete teacher training course and on-going professional development.
Initial teacher training
EF provides all teachers with a professional and comprehensive teacher training program to get them off to a good start. Our teacher training program includes product training, teaching skills workshops and online academic seminars to exchange best-practices in teaching English to students of foreign language. EF language trainers will receive guidance, structured feedback and performance appraisals from the Director of Studies (DoS).
Post-initial training support
Besides the introductory teacher training, all EF instructors will receive constant support from an entire team dedicated to their development as a professional English language teacher. You will receive both formal training and informal training encouragement from senior teachers, DoS, regional academic managers, teacher trainers and the national director of studies. The Senior Teachers and DoS will be in close communication with you to guide you and provide feedback on your teaching skills.
On-going teacher development program
During your first months at EF, we work closely with you to ensure they are equipped with the teaching resources and knowledge to feel confident in the classroom. As our teachers progress in their jobs, EF's teacher training team offers regular professional development training sessions to sharpen our teacher's knowledge of the latest teaching methodology and techniques.
