English language schools in Indonesia

EF English First's English language schools in Indonesia are spread throughout the major cities with a large concentration of schools on Java. Javanese cities are the destination for all students seeking a quality university degree and consequently the teaching in the cities outside of Java is predominantly to children and teenagers.

There are currently 50 EF English language schools in Indonesia serving between 10,000 and 15,000 students (enrolment fluctuates seasonally). Of the 38 schools on the island of Java, 24 are located in various parts of the capital Jakarta.

When applying for a position with EF English First in Indonesia you should be as flexible as possible about your destination, or else you should state the kind of destination that you would prefer. We will do all we can to place you in a location that meets your needs but due to logistical constraints we are unable to guarantee vacancies at specific destinations all year round.
