Cost of living in Russia

Cost of living in Russia can be very resonable. As with most non-English speaking countries, the cost of local produce or dishes is significantly less than that of imported goods or Western products. Typically a Western-style meal or takeaway will be 2 or 3 times a Russian-style meal or takeaway. In addition Western products will be at least twice as expensive as local products and some premium products like Champagne or Perfume could be up to 10 times more expensive.

Please speak to your Director of Studies during the application process for more information on local prices and availability/cost of certain products such as shoes (especially in larger sizes) or hygiene products - such as tampons and shaving products.
