English Teachers in Russia
Ryan Ewing, USA
Walking into the bright and bustling atmosphere of EF is always the best part of my day. I never know what kind of new and interesting people I will meet, but I always know that we will have a lot of fun and learn from each other. I have made friends with many of my students and other English teachers in Russia. Why work with EF English First? If you have ever wanted to speak with native English speaker teachers from all corners of the world, you can do it here. We all approach teaching English with a relaxed and comfortable feel in the classroom. I hope and look forward to seeing you in the teachers’ room in the near future. Being an English teacher in Russia is the best experience I could’ve asked for while teaching abroad.

Teaching really is a rewarding career. I know it sounds like a cliche, but when you see your students improve because of the hard work that everyone does, there’s no better feeling. The EF centres are clean and colourful, the rooms are high-tech and it’s a joy to start work every day. I also enjoy my free time. There are a lot of things to see and do in Russia, and lots of great people to meet. I’m in my second year of teaching now, and I am sure to stay with EF. But who knows, maybe China or Indonesia is next on the cards.
